More Than Just Pictures |
Logo designs are not just pretty pictures, especially when they’re for corporate branding purposes. A lot of thought goes into the creation of a logo, and a lot of things have to be considered.
Logos add the ultimate mark of distinction to a business. A great logo will set your company apart; it may be the last thing people notice (although that’s doubtful), but it’s also the first thing they remember. For this reason, it’s important to craft your logo with your target audience in mind. |

Who Is Your Client? |
Your custom logos won’t necessarily look like they have anything to do with your business. Take Nike for instance. We all see the “swoosh” and think “tennis shoe” and “Nike”. In reality, however, the little rounded checkmark has nothing that says “shoes”, other than the fact that Nike (or their marketing/design division) told us that “swoosh” means “Nike’s shoes”.
Part of Studio 40 Eight’s includes a creative design brief. After you’ve selected your logo package, we ask that you fill out this brief to help us understand you, your business and your logo preferences. One of the things to consider while filling out the design brief is your clients - not individually, but collectively.
Corporate clients tend to prefer seeing stark logos, one color and severe. Small to medium business like something a little brighter, more explanatory. With end-buyers, however, your logo designs can be cheesy or quaint, bright or dark. The true challenge for the creation of a logo is designing a logo your clients will like, while at the same time, crafting it to elicit some kind of positive emotion from the client.
This is the purpose of Studio 40 Eight’s custom logo designs. Corporate branding, company branding, personal branding – no matter what level of branding you need, your logo has to be precisely crafted for timelessness, emotional impact and client perception.
